Terms of Service – Red River Steel

These Terms of Service govern all purchases, deliveries, and interactions between you (“the Customer”) and Red River Steel (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order or engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Quotations and Orders

  • All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Orders must be confirmed in writing. By confirming, you accept full responsibility for all specifications, quantities, and delivery details provided.

  • Once confirmed, orders may not be altered or cancelled without our written consent.

2. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars and exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Full payment becomes due at dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Delivery

  • We handle all deliveries using our in-house freight service unless otherwise arranged.

  • Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to weather, traffic, or supply conditions.

  • You (the Customer) are responsible for having suitable access, equipment, and personnel to safely unload your order.

  • We are not liable for delays outside our control or damages occurring after unloading.

4. Risk and Title

  • Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery to the site or premises specified.

  • Title remains with Red River Steel until full payment has been received and cleared.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Please refer to our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

  • We do not accept returns for change of mind or incorrectly ordered items.

  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Product Specifications

  • All steel is supplied to standard industry tolerances unless otherwise stated.

  • Minor variations in appearance, finish, and dimensions may occur and do not constitute defects.

7. Custom Orders

  • Custom-fabricated, cut-to-length, or made-to-order items are non-refundable unless faulty or not as described.

  • You are responsible for double-checking all specifications prior to confirmation.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the replacement of goods, the supply of equivalent goods, or a refund at our discretion.

  • We are not liable for consequential loss, loss of profits, or indirect damages arising from use, delay, or failure of our products or services.

9. Warranties

  • Our goods come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits those rights.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. floods, strikes, supply chain disruptions, government restrictions).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be resolved under that jurisdiction.
